Happy Fall, Ya'll!

I'm going a little blog crazy today since I haven't posted in so long. We went on a cruise with a group of friends and had a FANTASTIC time. I posted a few pictures below. It was unanimous that we must do it again soon. Maybe we'll have an annual trip, open to everyone of course! Any ideas for our next getaway??

I'm also going to post some pictures from some of our other Fall happenings...the fair, Emilee's bulldog birthday, and Halloween.

Halloween was awesome. We had our annual Halloween bash. I think it gets bigger every year! We had nearly 80 people at our house! It sounds crazy (and it is!), but it really is a lot of fun. It's great to have friends who are comfortable enough in your house to just be at your house. I surprisingly never feel stressed or overwhelmed at this event and it's because people just make themselves at home. If anyone asks what they can do to help, my reply is, "If you see something that needs to be done just do it because I'm not sure where I'll be!" John did 3-4 separate hayrides to ensure that everyone had an opportunity to go trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. It was great. Thanks to everyone who helped make it a success:)

I just have to add a note about Elle's costume. She is a girl with a plan! She told me that she wanted to be Cinderella, the pink one, before the sisters tore her dress! Then she asked me over and over again, "Mommy, who made Cinderella's dress?" Well, Mommy could have used a little help from the mice in making this one but I think it turned out pretty well considering I had no pattern and less than a week to complete it! What do you think?
