Elle and I went to Oatland Island Wildlife Preserve today with some friends and had a WONDERFUL time! It was so kid friendly and laid back. Truly our kind of place. Every Tuesday they have Toddler Tuesdays in which they have a spotlighted animal. The theme today was cows, so we started the morning reading a book about cows and coloring a picture of a cow. Then, we went out to the barn and got to pet a cow. Elle was timid at first, but jumped right in when her buddies Caroline and Ava pet her. We saw every type of farm animal you can think of at the barn. Elle liked talking to the goose. I wish I had a picture of her nose at the fence, head cocked to the left, talking to the goose. It was great. After the barn, we went on the nature walk and saw a fox, a cougar, some alligators, some bison, a bobcat, and some owls. We had a picnic in between. Elle called it her "venture" all day because we went on an adventure with her friends. Great day! Can't wait until next Tuesday!

Hey Holly! I love your blog. It is so cute. Do you have Shawn Sikes email address, by some strange chance? Someone told me that he is in France for a while. I thought we would look him up while we are over there.
