More summer fun!

Wow we've been busy! I thought things were supposed to slow down over the summer. I guess I thought wrong. Well, right after our big trip to Oatland Island, we went with some friends to Fripp for a couple of days. Elle loved hosting her friends Nathan and Carter and really enjoyed thier company. She's turned into quite the little fish. She had her first experience with swimmies on this trip. It took her all of a minute to master them and now she swims all over the pool. It's so much fun! We've also still been going to softball games every Tuesday and Thursday night. Last night was our last game. Our boys made it into the tournament, but lost their 2nd game. It was a fun season! We're already looking forward to next year. We've also made a couple of trips to Splash in the 'Boro. Elle LOVES it there. Like I said earlier, she's just a little fish. She goes down the waterslides and floats on the lazy river. That girl was born for summertime...my kind of girl! Today was the last day of Vacation Bible School at church. I was in charge of crafts for Elementary kids. It was a great, but exhausting week. Elle seemed to have a great time. We had some great folks with our 2 year olds in the nursery. They made all sorts of things and listened to Bible stories. Elle came home and told me about the shepherd and the lost sheep. I was super impressed. Well, we're off to the beach next week to stay through the 4th. We're really enjoying our summer. Hope you are, too!
