Okay, okay, I know it's been too long since my last post. The end of the summer has been pretty WILD and I haven't taken the time to Blog. Maybe I'll have more time now that we'll have schedule. (Who am I kidding, right??)
Well, Elle started preschool on Tuesday! (sniff, sniff) She's loving it! (sniff, sniff) She's obviously doing better than Mommy. She was such a big girl on her first day of school. I woke her up saying that she had to get ready for her big first day. She sat up and gave me a big hug and was ready to go. She would have rolled out of bed and gotten in the car, but we thought it best if she had breakfast and got dressed first. When we took her in, she got busy playing right away. She blew us a kiss and said "bye, bye!" I had to hold back my tears. It's been quite the bittersweet week for Mommy and Daddy. We're so happy that she's enjoying it, but it just doesn't seem right that she's big enough for the 2 year old class.
This year will be a big year of "firsts." She started going to Sunday School this past Sunday, which she absolutely loves. It's really hard to get her to leave and go in the nursery for church because she loves her big girl class so much. She's also going to start dancing with Mrs. Rosanna next Tuesday. I don't know who's more excited about this one. I've been waiting for her to start dancing since I found out I was having a girl. We went to the Sugar Plum Fairy last week and she picked out a new leotard and tutu and we got her jazz shoes. Of course everything had to be pink. I snuck in a black leotard with a little dog on it when she wasn't looking because it was just too cute not to have. She likes it, but refuses to put it on if the pink one is in sight. The girl LOVES pink. I can't say I blame her:) Anyway, I'm sure there will lots of pictures in this new adventure!! Stay tuned. We're also starting Kindermusik in a couple of weeks. I'm really excited about this one, too. I'm not sure what to expect really, but everyone who goes loves it. My little girl is growing up!! (sniff, sniff)
Oh, and I almost forgot. I started school this week. We've been in pre-planning since Monday and the students come back tomorrow. READY or NOT! School's in!

You have a busy girl! I always enjoyed doing lots of activities growing up too!
Tell me about Kinder music. Is Drew ready for that?? I told Jen I would Love to do that.
I can't believe Elle is starting with Rosanna. That is so great. I can't wait until Beatrice starts Dance Class!! Hopefully we will see you in Kindermusik on Monday. Thanks for your emails and warm thoughts. We appreciate it!
